Watercolour painting course itinerary.
A room is available in the hotel, for the use
in the event of poor weather.
Sunday
Introduction at the hotel around 4.00 pm leaving the evening for your
meal and time to settle in.
Monday
Breakfast and then painting around the hotel's outstanding gardens giving you chance to get
to know Arthur better, check over your equipment, breaking for a sandwich
lunch> Then in the afternoon
sketching and painting.
Tuesday
Start the day with a good breakfast before leaving for a day of sketching and painting in another
location returning to the hotel again for a cracking evening meal.
Wednesday
Again a wonderful breakfast and off for a full days' painting with a packed
lunch. Returning in time for yet another lovely evening meal taken slightly
earlier as Arthur will be doing a Demonstration Painting in the hotel lounge
from 7.00 pm to 10.30 pm.
Thursday
Once more we rise to a good breakfast and then off for the day enjoying
the flora and forna, recording all we see in watercolours.
Returning again around 5.00 to prepare for yet another delightful evening
meal before watching a watercolour video in the lounge
and then to
bed.
Friday
Rising
sadly for the final breakfast prior to meeting in the lounge to review
and discuss ones work and then it's sad farewells at lunchtime and
the journey home.
At this point it is important to say Arthur will be with you all day
and every day to give you help, guidance, demos and advice. Helped by
at all times by his wife Evelyn. We make every effort to help you with
your painting, sketching and anything necessary for your comfort throughout
the course. Our previous courses have been very successful
and early booking is advisable.

- Watercolour paper
- Watercolours
- Sketching pencils or pens
- Eraser or putty rubber
- Brushes rounds 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10
- rigger 0 or 1
- Lightweight portable chair
- Lightweight portable board
- Plastic water bottle
- Lightweight portable raincoat (we hope you don't need it)
- Sensible walking shoes
